6 ply Keller VSS North American Maple. Actual Shell Size 7x14" Finished size 7.80x14" 55 degree laser cut bearing edges and custom laser assisted hand cut snare bed. Hardware - Black Nickel Tube-Lugs, with Tru-Pitch black nickel Tension Rods and black nylon rod sleeves. S-Hoop True Edge Hoops with Sick Saver Edges. Trick Snare Strainer with matching retainer plate, Pure-Sound Snare Wires, and 1/2 Heavy Duty Air Vent. Heads - Evans Hydraulic batter head, and Evans Resonant Head that has been heat treated and camber-sealed to the shells bearing edge. This process is Not offered by big box instrument companies. Pure Custom stealth Badge located on backside of instrument for a clean appearance.

Rehabilitation of a 1942 Snare Drum by W.F.L
This Instrument was created originally by WFL, Mr. William Francis Ludwig.
WFL would become the drum company named Ludwig.
Created in 1942, this drum had been in rough shape when it was brought to us.
The owner wanted it restored, and wanted to keep it original.
Instrument was disassembled, shell Trued, Sanded to bare wood, and new bearing edge's cut.
Shell was Coated accordingly to match original finish with a new Lacquer.
Lug Casings restored to Original satin, not chrome, and head's were upgraded.
Original Tension Rods were cleaned, Re-threaded, polished and looked brand new.
Hoop's Polished, Instrument Reassembled, and Tuned.
Upon Delivery, Owner was thrilled, and more than satisfied with quality..
